WELCOME TO THE BIGGEST CORAL REEF RESTORATION EFFORT ON THE PLANET
We are actively restoring coral reefs on a massive scale, educating others on the importance of our oceans, and using science to further coral research and coral reef monitoring techniques.
We work to support the reefs’ natural recovery processes through the large-scale cultivation, outplanting, and monitoring of genetically diverse, reef-building corals.
We engage and empower the community to join us to save our planet’s coral reefs with dive programs, educational activities, scientific collaborations, and outreach.
WE ARE ACTIVELY RESTORING CORAL REEFS ON A MASSIVE SCALE
We grow corals in offshore Coral Tree™ Nurseries, and then rehome them on carefully selected sites.
Since 2007, we have returned more than 220,000 critically endangered corals back to Florida's Coral Reef.
Many of these corals have now grown into thriving colonies with the ability to spawn, kick-starting the reefs' natural process of recovery.
OUR APPROACH IS GUIDED BY RESEARCH AND COLLABORATION
We work with 1,300 putative coral genotypes across 20 species, to ensure that we are restoring the reefs' genetic diversity and resilience.
We rigorously monitor our outplanted corals and use data to inform our strategic development.
We collaborate with universities, aquariums, NGOs, and government agencies including NOAA and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
WE ARE ENGAGING AND
