St Helens are set to take on Hull FC this week, a week after their heartbreaking Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to Wigan Warriors.

Saints lost 20-18 that day and will be hoping to do much better against a Hull side at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Hull’s weekend off, however, may well have helped them recover and recuperate a number of injured bodies.

Super League: June fixtures confirmed with men's and women's double header live on Sky

Round 15 sees Salford Red Devils v Wigan Warriors before focus switches to Perpignan when Catalans Dragons host Hull FC; Round 16 then sees a St Helens v Leeds Rhinos double header, before Warrington against Hull FC and Hull KR v Huddersfield, all live on Sky

The Dragons will be hoping to even up the scorecard against the Black and Whites, as the two teams continue to lead the rest of the pack behind St Helens and Wigan so far this season.

Round 16 will see four live games on Sky Sports across the weekend. The round kicks-off on Thursday June 23 with a double header of women's and men's Betfred Super League action from Totally Wicked Stadium as St Helens host Leeds Rhinos in both competitions.

Both games will be live on Sky Sports with the women's game kicking-off at 5:30pm followed by the men's game at 8pm.

Brett Hodgson believes Hull FC have suffered from a mental block when coming up against St Helens in the past. The Black and Whites have lost their last 12 games against Saints in all competitions and the Merseyside outfit have notched up 30 points or more on nine occasions.

Four of those defeats have come under the stewardship of Hodgson with the latest coming back in February as FC lost 38-6 against Kristian Woolf’s side on home soil. However, Hull travel to the Totally Wicked Stadium with heaps of confidence this time around after winning their last three Super League outings.

June's Super League fixtures live on Sky Sports have been confirmed for Round 15 and Round 16 of the competition, including a men's and women's double header of Super League action from Totally Wicked Stadium as St Helens host Leeds Rhinos in both competitions.

First up in Round 15, the Sky cameras will be at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford on Friday June 10, as the Red Devils take on the Wigan Warriors.

Attention will then turn to the South of France, with the Catalans Dragons facing Hull FC at the Stade-Gilbert Brutus.

Their last match up was also a close affair, Hull FC coming away victors at the MKM Stadium in what was a completion-focused contest, the Hull FC pack securing the tight contest against the Dragons.

Warrington Wolves, Catalans Dragons and Toulouse Olympique have all been dispatched in recent weeks and although Hodgson believes a season best performance will be required on Friday night, he has high hopes of finally ended that rotten run.

“I do and I think that would be the case for a lot of teams,” Hodgson said when asked whether he felt there had been a mentality issue against St Helens in the past.
